New 10/16/12: Check out this interview article in the: Wenatchee World
Albert will bring a new voice to county government – backed by years of experience and leadership!
His history shows that he listens to all points of view, works well with others and seeks solutions to problems. Just one example of his dedication to solving problems:
New technologies have made it possible for ranchers to use alternative energy pumping systems to provide water to remote locations. However, until 2010 Washington Labor and Industries rules wouldn’t allow approval of an electric controller needed to apply this technology. Albert made trips to Olympia, met with the Labor & Commerce legislative chair as well as the L&I division head. Working together they succeeded in changing the rules – making new water sources available to our ranchers.
